Use of stabilizers for clay soils a literary review

Abstract
Obtaining an improved soil has been par excellence a product in constant development, stabilizers are precisely an alternative solution that is often essential to improve the characteristics and properties of soils in road works. It is known that in this type of works work is done with loan material or quarries and many times these places are very far from the destination, which increases costs significantly, and the problem lies here. The study objectives revolve based on the achievement of relating the dosages of traditional stabilizers, showing the advantages of their properties of improved clay soil after being stabilized, by comparing two case studies already carried out and making known the savings in use soil stabilizers. The research is descriptive in nature, since two cases already studied are reviewed and compared, obtaining the discussion and relationship between their results
