Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering

The Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering at the University of Cauca was created by Agreement No 40 of December 17, 1960, issued by the Administrative Committee of the Colombian Association of Universities and the National College Fund and endorsed by the Ministry of National Education on December 19, 1960.

Since its founding, the program in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering has been characterized by growing electronic technology, applied especially to the large field of Telecommunications.

In addition, it has tended to achieve true integration with society and a close relationship with the electronics, telecommunications, and computer industries, in order to contribute significantly to improving the quality of life for all inhabitants of the country.

By Resolution No 10879 of 2010, issued by the Ministry of Education, was awarded the Qualified Registry for this academic program for a period of seven (7) years.

 

Degree title: Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer

Schedule: Day classes.

Modality: The classes are held in a classroom setting. 

Duration: Ten (10) semesters.

Admission: Semiannual.
